Tearing testers

The Heavy Duty Tear Tester (Electronic model)  is ideal for measuring the tearing strength of textile materials and is available as an electronic or mechanical model. Extremely durable yet compact, this rugged instrument provides capacities of 6 400, 12,800, and 25,600 grams with the use of augmenting weights.

Accurately measurement of the tear resistance of sheet materials including paper, packaging, foils, textiles, non-wovens and plastic films. Capacities are changed quickly and easily with augmenting weights. This configuration eliminates the necessity of multiple pendulums and simplifies the testing of different materials.
