Shirley Flammability Testers. To determine the flammability resistance of vertically oriented fabrics and soft fabric toys. Manual model requires operator to position burner and time events with stop watches. Automatic model with motor operated gas burner and micro switch operated trip threads.

The Vertical Flammability Chamber is used for measuring the vertical flame spread of children's sleepwear, fabrics, other textile materials or resilient filling materials used in upholstered furniture.
