It is important to keep the relative air humidity (RH) between 45 an 60%. RH is the amount of water one cubic meter contains, depending on temperature.
Too dry air can irritate you nasal passages, throat, skin, ... It can also lead to tiredness. To humid air on the other side can also lead to health complaints, but also to bad smell in your house/office, static electricity, damage to buildings, furniture and valuable things.
