Breweries use large road tankers for transportation of beer. After every empting, the tanker is completely full of CO2 . La Chouffe use Nitrogen based chemicals for cleaning the tankers; these chemicals react very aggressively with CO2 , when mixed together causing an immediate implosion (caused by negative pressure). To avoid this, LA CHOUFFE connected a compressed air tube to road tankers in order to blow CO2 .
Advantages of the solution:
1. Reduction of energy costs (massively lower running costs)
2. Time savings (20 minutes per tanker)
3. Higher productivity
Existing arrangement was to connect a compressed air tube to the tanker and open the supply. It took 1hour 30 minutes to clean one road tanker.
Test installation
Blower XT 300, 2.2 KW, Control panel, Sound enclosure and hose to connect to the
tanker.
CO2 starts to leave a tank circa after 15 minutes of operation
High performance with high efficiency for lower energy costs!
